In Calgary, the season for lawn care generally starts in the spring, This is the time to Power Rake lawn if there is lots of thatch and Lawn Aerate if ground is packed. Make Sure Power Raking is done generally before May 7 or before starting to turn green. Can apply a Fertilizer as well.


During this time, it is important to start preparing your lawn for the growing season by removing any debris, and fill the soil, and overseeding any bare or thin areas or low spots.
