1. Choose the right grass type:
In Calgary, it's best to choose cool-season grass types such as Kentucky bluegrass, fescue, and perennial ryegrass. These grasses are better suited to the cooler temperatures and shorter growing season of the area.
2. Water deeply and infrequently:
Water your lawn deeply once or twice a week rather than shallow, frequent watering. This will encourage deep root growth and make your lawn more drought-resistant. It's also important to water in the morning to reduce evaporation.

3.Fertilize appropriately:
4. Use a slow-release fertilizer in the spring and fall to promote healthy growth and avoid fertilizer burn. Follow the instructions on the package carefully and don't over-fertilize, as this can lead to excessive growth and disease susceptibility. Weed N Feed Lawn or hand dig out weeds dont let them get out of hand.
5. Mow at the right height: Keep your lawn at a height of around 21/2-3 inches and avoid cutting off more than 1/3 of the grass blade at a time. This will encourage strong root growth and help your lawn resist weeds and disease.
6. Aerate your lawn: Aerating your lawn will help water, nutrients, and air reach the roots of your grass, promoting healthy growth. Aim to aerate your lawn once a year in the spring or fall.
7. Topseed in Spring and Fall any bare or low spots in Lawn.
Remember not to walk on Lawn when there is snow on lawn can cause harm damage Lawn.
